Our Lady of Consolation Nursing & Rehabilitative Care Center Boy Scout Pack 153 Visits

West Islip, NY 11795 — On January 13, 2006, Boy Scout Pack 153-Tiger Cub Den, visited 101-year-old Wilhelmina Weigold, a resident of Our Lady of Consolation. The boys made special cards for Ms. Weigold as an elective towards getting their Tiger Cub badge. As part of achieving their badge the Tiger Cub Den also interviewed Ms. Weigold and learned her secrets of living a long and healthy life. The boys enjoyed the time they spent with Ms. Weigold and are looking forward to more visits.

Our Lady of Consolation is a 450-bed nursing and rehabilitative care center conducted in the tradition of the Sisters of St. Dominic since 1894 and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
