MISSION STATEMENT

Our Lady of Consolation Pastoral Care Staff is dedicated to the emotional, social and spiritual care of resident/patients, loved ones, and staff. Our main focus is to be aware of, and provide for the evolving needs of spiritual care by providing a Christ-like presence in the facility.

OUR VISION

We, the members of the Pastoral Care Staff, acting as professional team, strive to:

· Attend to the emotional, social and spiritual needs of residents/patients, loved ones and staff with compassionate listening, empathy and confidentiality.

· Nourish the spiritual life of all who live, visit and minister at Our Lady of Consolation, thus enhancing quality of life.

· Encourage and facilitate an atmosphere where various faith traditions may live, pray, grieve and celebrate together.

· Ease the dying process for residents/patients and their loved ones through compassionate, prayerful presence.
