CEO Message

As President and Chief Executive Officer of Our Lady of Consolation Nursing & Rehabilitative Care Center, I feel privileged to be part of an organization with a long heritage of dedicated services to the people of Long Island. It is my distinct pleasure to share with you some of my thoughts about the important role Our Lady of Consolation plays in providing short and long term continuing care to the community.  Our Lady of Consolation is also a vital member of the local business community and is one of the largest employers on the South Shore of Long Island.

Our healing ministry is dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate short-term patient post-acute services for medical, surgical and rehabilitative care as well as nursing care for long term residents. Our Lady of Consolation serves all members of the community over 16 years of age. Our patients and staff represent the broad spectrum of Long Island’s diversity with the many languages, races, ethnicities, faiths and cultures that enrich our local communities.

As a member of Catholic Health Services of Long Island, Our Lady of Consolation is committed to meeting the needs of our diverse population through a network of caring and skilled staff, physicians and volunteers. Our concern is for the overall well being of our patients and residents as well as their families and encompasses the entirety of their physical, social and emotional health. Our Lady of Consolation offers a comprehensive array of services and support groups unique to the community. Special programs include short-term rehabilitative care in order to help patients achieve their optimum level of functioning and post-acute services for those who have a need for nursing care.

Our chronic care services include geriatric residential care for the physically and mentally infirm elderly.
